Fall Mini Sessions
Are you excited for fall? I am! I am having one day of mini sessions at Butcher Farm on October 6th. Mini sessions for this event will last 15 minutes and will include 4 retouched poses for purchase. Session fee is $45. As silly as it seems, times will depend upon the WVU vs Texas football kickoff (TBA). I would assume the game will be an evening game so I will tentatively set the sessions to begin at 11 AM. Please comment below or on my facebook with "session 1" (which would be from 11-11:15) through "session 6" (which *should* be 12:15- 12:30) depending upon your preference to reserve your spot. No more than six spots, please. If more spots are necessary I will consider more. I will contact everyone in advance to set times in stone and discuss any other matters. This could be the last opportunity that you have to get those shots for your 2012 Christmas cards! I look forward to it!
Session 1 11:00-11:15- Ashley Kelley
Session 2 11:15-11:30- Jennifer Lavoie
Session 3 11:30-11:45- Shannon Gard
Session 4 11:45-12:00- Kassi Adkins
Session 5 12:00-12:15- Heather Burrell
Session 6 12:15-12:30- Open
Session 7 12:30-12:45- Kaylie Gillespy

Cornecelli x 4!
Well, later today around 5 o'clock the Cornecelli's will come home to find their maternity pictures waiting for them so I thought it might be safe to post a few until then :). A few weeks ago I had this shoot with Mrs. Bethany Cornecelli herself, her funny hubby, Bill, and her "I don't want my picture taken" toddler, Avery! Here are a few pictures from their shoot!
This two were definitely my favorite ones of just the momma-to-be by herself. She is such a pretty girl and it was such a pretty sunset!
This was probably ONE of my favorites of the family together. I won't spoil any others of the 3 (4) of them together in case she sees this before going home! :)
One of just mommy and daddy. So precious!
Last but not least, one of Miss Avery. When I said she didn't want her picture taken, she didn't want her picture taken! Haha! Surprisingly this isn't her smiling.... This is her face when daddy says "Let me see your teeth". I'll take what I can get! And this worked! Thanks Bill!
Thanks again to Bill and Bethany for letting me capture such a special time in your lives! I can't wait to meet your baby boy! Congratulations!

It's Me: The New Mrs. B!
Well, I figure I'm well overdue for a new post! So here it goes...... I've been married for about a month and a half now. So many people say, "How's the married life?!" and I always say "Good!" or "Great!", but in all honesty it doesn't feel a whole lot different! Still, it does feel great to finally be married! We got married on the 14th of last month (July) and it went very smoothly for the most part. To begin the day I ate a bowl of fruit-loops at my best friend Marissa's parent's new house in Vienna. Surprisingly I was able to sleep until almost 7:30 without tossing and turning too much. I didn't think I would get much sleep at all! Marissa and I got ourselves cleaned up and ready to face the day before heading out to see all of the other girls.
This is a picture of Marissa and I before we even got out of bed the day of the wedding. Life was much less stressful layiing in bed with my very best friend that day!We looked pretty rough! Lol
This is how we looked after getting our makeup done that same day. I figured if I was going to post such a rough-looking picture of us that I should post a good one too ;p.
Later that morning Marissa and I met up with my other bridesmaids to get our hair and makeup done. It was an interesting time. We had a lot of laughs but even more hairspray! (S/o to Laura Zubreski for doing a fabbbbbb job on my makeup! It looked amazing and I LOOOOVED it! Go see her at Belk for your makeover and makeup needs!)
After that it was finally time to go to the church! I was beginning to feel the anxiety set in but was still pretty calm. I didn't start to feel the panic set in until after the girls had helped me get my dress on and many people began to flood the room wanting "pictures of the bride". That's when it sunk in. It wasn't the fact that I was getting married. It wasn't that I was going to walk down an aisle in front of 150 people. It was that ALL eyes would be on my EVERY move for the rest of the day..... well, rest of my life depending upon who you are lol. Still, I maintained my cool and posed for pictures for anyone that asked, willingly or not lol!
Of course I was more than happy to stop and pose for a picture with my beautiful niece and flowergirl, Emma Grace!
About that time my good friend (and AMAZING jack of all trades for the wedding!), Jordan, came in and said it was "time". But all I could hear was BA-BOOM BA-BOOM BA-BOOM BA-BOOM BA-BOOM! (That's the sound of me heart about to jump out of my chest for those of you that didn't catch on!) I felt very proud of myself that up until that moment I had kept my composure through this all! But not any more!!! I was a wreck! We walked out the door, around the side of the church, and in the North Entrance behind the sanctuary where 150 of our closest friends and family were waiting for ME! Ahhhhhh! I began breathing heavily, my heart was racing, my knees were weak, and my hands wouldn't stop shaking! I. Was. Having. A PANIC ATTACK! Yes, I, Kasey ChristineHartleben Brookover, was LOSING IT! Curtis's mom.... then my bridesmaids... then my flowergirl... they had all taken "the walk". It was officially my turn. My dad (being the brave guy he is) grabbed my hand and said, "I'm ready whenever you are". So, arm-in-arm with my dad, I walked down the aisle.... hyperventilating and all. No joke people.
After my major meltdown it was all pretty smooth sailing. "Will you?", "I do.", "Take this ring", "Take this ring", "blah, blah, blah until death do us part" and all that jazz. (I really do take my marriage and my wedding ceremony seriously, it's just WAY too much to blog about :) ) And that was that! "I would like to introduce to you the new Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Brookover!"
I must admit, it felt pretty good! And I didn't hyperventilate back down the aisle, let it be known!!!
After the wedding we had a great celebration with our friends and family at the Parkersburg Art Center. Our "first dance" was to I'll Be by Edwin McCain. Took us awhile to pick this song but it was a definite match! It was a night full of fun, music, desserts, dancing, cheers, beers,(MOUNTAINEERS!... had to)and tears.... those may have been my fault! My wonderful sister made each and every one of the cupcakes we had in place of a traditional wedding cake. At the end of the night there was so much to clean up. Huuuuuuge thank you to everyone that stayed and helped clean! Especially Tammy, Bill, Dad, Jodi, Adam, Ashley, Amp, and Mike! You guys were amazing and we really, really appreciate it! Here are a few pictures from reception.....
After clean-up we went home and went to sleep! I slept for about 2 hours and Curtis had a total of 1 hour before getting back up and heading to Columbus airport! Oh, sure we were excited, but excitement only gets you so far on 2 hours of sleep! Our flights went very smoothly and we were in beautiful Cancun, Mexico before we knew it! Since this is already a pretty lengthy post I'll just leave you with more pictures from our honeymoon instead of going into detail of all the in's and out's of our stay.... Just know that it was the perfect week to our new lives together!
Now that we're back we both miss Mexico terribly! We're back to our normal routines. Him working at BPD, me subbing at Wood Co Schools. But still happy as ever!
Lastly, I'd like to thank the awesome Lindsay Husk for all of our beautiful wedding pictures! We love, love, LOVE them and couldn't be happier with them! You are amazing at what you do!
PS- sorry if I got carried away with the pictures ;)

Almost Mrs. B
It's hard to believe, but this time in two weeks I will be preparing for my last days of being Ms. Hartleben. I've already had my hair trial and taken my dress to be altered. My make up trial is tonight and I'm really looking forward to it. I get my dress back next week just in time for any last minute alterations. I never realized how crazy planning a wedding is. I've tried so hard to not become "bridezilla" but I think she has arrived, according to Curtis. I told him if everything went my way that she wouldn't have ever shown her crazy face :). We've decided to have an open church wedding. I'm very happy that the church family I have grown up with will be there on my big day, but I have a lot of anxiety about it. As most of you know, my mother rsvp'd "no"to or wedding. I have mixed emotions about it, but because I have pretty much kept to myself about the situation I'm afraid that my church family attending the wedding will think she was not invited, which is absolutely not the case. I care a lot for the men and women in my church that have helped mold me into the person that I am today, and thinking they would think I did that upsets me greatly. But, the best thing and only thing for me to do is give it to God and let him take care of me. And I know He will.
It's also hard to believe but summer is almost half over! I've been watching Ashlynn now for about a month. We have a lot of fun. We have fun Friday every week and do something out of the ordinary. So far we have made a really yummy pie (which I almost lost a thumb over), gone to get our nails done, and gone to yard sales. Let me just say, I think... No, I know.... That my best friend and her husband will make some amazing parents. I was fortunate enough to get to spend the afternoon with them the day I took Ashlynn to some yard sales. Ashlynn is quite a shy kid, but really opened up to these two. We both had so much fun with them that day. My best friend's husband even bought her a magic kit he saw her looking at. Made her day and touched my heart. I know my best friend has married a wonderful man, and it makes me so happy. ANYWAY, I'm taking Ashlynn to Blennerhassett Island this Friday and she doesn't know yet. My good friend/step adopted grandfather, Mr. Martin, is going with us too! He doesn't get out and do fun stuff a lot so I'm happy he's going to get out, but I'm really glad he's going just to be with us too! Although Ashlynn and I are having so much fun, I still miss Jack and Keira!
I know it's been a long time since I've posted so I just wanted to let you know I'm still alive and doing well! Stressed, but happy and still in love with life and my almost husband. I'll try to blog one more time before the wedding. Plus, I'm sure I'll have a lot to say about my bahelorette party next weekend!

Lindsey's 1st Birthday & Easter 2012
Yesterday Curtis and I had fun at Lindsey's, my future niece, first birthday party! Here is a picture of the birthday girl and me! There was a great turn out and we all had a blast. Lindsey is such a sweet, happy little girl. I can't wait to celebrate many, many more birthdays with her.
(Sorry the picture is sideways, I can't find where to rotate it!)
Today began by celebrating Easter with Curtis and my future mother-in-law by going to a wonderful church service and then lunch at the new Cheddars. We've been to many other Cheddars restaurants before and love them so this is the second time we have been to ours! After church I came home with a horrible headache and slept for 2 1/2 hours! Wow! Now Curtis, Gidget, and I are sitting around trying to figure out what we can do on this beautiful day. It is almost 70 degrees out and beautiful!
Hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Easter Sunday with your families.
He is risen and died for my sins!

Easter Pictures
In honor of Easter I thought I would post a few pictures from an Easter session I had with little Miss Avery yesterday afternoon. Avery is sooooooooooooo cute! I was fortunate enough to do some Christmas pictures of her last year and look forward to doing her mommy's maternity pictures in the coming months! Avery does not like to stay in one spot long so I felt as if I got a total workout yesterday! Anyway, happy Easter, everyone!
You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my heart!
